Hello! Today we're hiking in Gatineau National Park, in Quebec. It is around the middle of Fall, or Autumn, early October. The leaves have begun to change quite drastically and this particular stretch of forest has turned a beautiful yellow. It's also the hottest October on record for the Ottawa/Gatineau area, a scotching 29 degrees celcius (it would normally be around 10).
We're hiking off the main trails in the deep woods today - no people to bother us, the only sounds that of trickling streams, sweet birds calling, and my footsteps through the fallen leaves.
This is an ambient trek through the Canadian wilderness with natural sound presented in 4K resolution. Here I complete a loop of around 5km in an hour, and check out some mushrooms along the way.
I hope you enjoy the hike through the yellow forest. Like the video, if you so desire, and I'd love a sub to bring you more fall content from hiking to city and small town tours to ambient relaxing landscapes.
Have yourself, a lovely day.
