SEASONALLY COOL TODAY; SHOWERS LOOM
Skies will remain bright as can be on this Tuesday as an area of high pressure continues its course across the two state. Eventually, the circulation of this slowly departing surface high will provide a southeast wind, enough to push daytime highs just around 50 degrees.
Afterwards, next system pulling in from the west will provide more clouds later tonight followed by the chance for a few light rain showers during the later hours on Wednesday.
The rest of the week still looks fairly active as another disturbance brings in more clouds along with more cold. Moisture available with this system will begin with a cold rain later Thursday before the last of the raindrops by early Friday morning become mix or change over to some light snow.
The seasonally cool air of late gets much colder heading into the weekend with afternoon highs staying just below the freezing mark! Thats some good old fashion January weather, my friend.
