Hey everyone, Handy863 here bringing you another video today. I decided to look into doing a bit more recording on Wii Music as recently as August, though I was specifically drawn to doing this game mode after my friend Paul, a.k.a AwesomeGamerland recorded a play through of all the tracks.

I did a little bit of searching and couldn't find any recorded evidence that anyone had achieved 100 points on all 5 songs. This immediately drew me in on the challenge of doing so! Shoutouts to Magic Mind and chikorii, who's recordings gave more of an insight to what I needed to achieve this.

Now, in terms of the actual game play. I shall try and explain as best as I can on how I achieved 100 points on the songs...
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star (0:11) - This one is fairly straight forward, I got this after just 1 or 2 tries of the song. The track is basically just one massive crescendo, all you need to do in order to get 100 points is start of by conducting softly, keeping the dynamics low, then gradually build it up before going full on once the trumpet parts come in (at 0:54). No real need for using the cymbals in this song, I added a crash right at the end just to make sure that the dynamics built up enough.
Carmen (1:58) - This track was undeniably the hardest out of the lot to do. I put at least 4 days into this! Once I got good at the song, I couldn't seem to pass 97 as my high score. Magic Mind also had the same high score, with his highest recorded score being 94 points (no one else had anything above 80, nobody had 100). I was starting to doubt whether or not it was actually possible to get 100 points on this track! I decided to pause before sections to see if I could get a better understanding of them and to my surprise the game rewarded me with 98 points. I kept on going with the technique to test it out further and I eventually managed to get 100 points. Like Twinkle Twinkle, the game seems to only be judging you of your dynamic control over the piece. The pauses I did mid play and the out of time quiet part didn't effect it in the slightest. The biggest killer of getting a high score would be the crescendo part (at 3:01). To me it seems incredibly specific! playing the cymbal parts in where they appear in the song helps to increase the score as well. you can only get around 70 points if you don't use them.

The Four Seasons - Spring (3:58) - This one took a couple of tries to get right, I probably spent an hour on it tops (probably less). Once again, the game is judging you more on your dynamics instead of your timing, however timing does play a key role in some sections of this song too. The dynamics are pretty self explanatory from the recording, you basically swap between loud and quiet for every phrase. Timing wise, there are 2 places you need to consider. for the first violin solo (at 4:46), you need to make sure that you don't slow down. Then at the second violin solo (at 5:15), you need to gradually slow down til about halfway into the solo, then gradually pickup the speed again until the solo ends, resuming to the original tempo of the song. Slowing down at the end I'd guess is optional, I accidentally held the last beat. There is no need to use the cymbals at all in this track, they'd probably lower your score if you do. Shoutout to chikorii, who's 100 point recording of this track helped me understand what I needed to do better.

Ode to Joy (6:15) - This track is much easier in comparison to Carmen and Four Seasons, though I'd say it took me just under half an hour to get to 100 points. Unlike the previous three tracks, this one doesn't seem to be terribly focused on dynamics. From what I gather, the game judges you on your use of the cymbal and your tempo towards the end. Just make sure you speed up towards the end, like I do at 7:17. And learn where all the cymbal crashes are, the video should be pretty self explanatory with those. Not including the cymbals would probably give you a lower score. Shoutout to Magic Mind, who's 100 point recording of this track helped me understand what I needed to do better.

The Legend of Zelda (7:55) - This song is probably the easiest song to do out of the lot, I pretty much scored 100 points on it first try! The only thing I'd say that you should do to ensure that you get a higher score is to learn where all the cymbal crashes are (the video should show you all of those) and make sure you don't conduct the track to quickly.
