Selectively killing invasive weeds in the lawn can be a difficult process. Some weeds pulling won't be enough, and while your new lawn is establishing they can easily take over.
A weed wick or a rope wick can be used to paint glyphosate on the weeds easily. Most of the time they'll be taller than the good grass so you can just glide over the top.
I'll do a full review on this particular weed wick once I've had time to use it and see how well it works.
