I was trying to social distance out in the field, but when the weekend rolled around it seemed like there were people EVERYWHERE! So I headed for the one place I figured I'd find desolation: U.S. Highway 50, a/k/a The Loneliest Road in America! This stretch of highway runs through some of the most sparsely populated parts of the West, and is said to be one of the most desolate areas in the United States. Is it just marketing hype?
