I just don't "get" the E-100 at all. On paper it's the faster and more mobile but less heavily armoured of the two German tier 10s. Well it's definitely less well-armoured than the Maus but it's certainly not fast and it's not mobile. Technically it has a better gun than the Maus, but the E-100's 150mm gun has a really hard time penetrating other Tier 10s from the front and bounces a lot more than it should, so E-100 drivers tend to pack HE ammo to guarantee they'll at least do *some* damage to those IS-4s and IS-7s. The only problem there is if you run across the wrong tank with the "wrong" ammo loaded, you're going to spend 15 seconds reloading while he shoots you twice.

And yet, maybe it's just me? There are good E-100 drivers out there. I just don't think I'm one of them. Today I take it out for a spin on Abbey, and sadly, this is probably my best E-100 game.
