Part 4 of our 7 part video series on "SADDLE FITTING BASICS" focuses on panel contact. The panel reflects the underside shape of the saddle's tree as well as serve as the balancing aid for the rider. The panel of the saddle acts as an interface between the rider and horse. When the panel's angles and balance reflect the shape of the horse's back, the rider's position is optimized for the most accurate and stable ride possible.
