Many of the graveyards in Hertfordshire (UK) contain at least one famous person or person(s) noted in history. They also contain graves of ordinary people with extraordinary, or very tragic, stories. Many of these people, and their stories, are forgotten by modern generations. I spent six months travelling the county documenting these graves and the amazing stories behind them. These include stories of murder, executions or extremely unfortunate victims of tragic events. Some of these stories are not recorded in the history books.
