#Dlium Fragile dapperling (Leucocoprinus fragilissimus) is a species of fungus in Agaricaceae, a very fragile toadstool, long and very thin stems with thin rings, breaks easily with slight pressure, cap is deep grooved, translucent, pale yellow or bright white, grows solitary above the humus.
L. fragilissimus has a cap up to 4.5 cm wide, curved downward or flat or curved upwards and is bell-shaped with small bumps, serrated edges as fold ends, very brittle and collapses immediately.
Translucent, deep grooved from edge to center, dry or moist, pale greenish yellow with slightly darker center and fades to white with yellowish center.
Stem up to 4-9 cm long, up to 2 mm thick, very brittle and swaying in the wind, white with faint spots of pale, translucent color. A thin ring is white, translucent, brittle and sometimes disappears.
The spores are white, 12x8 µ, ellipsoid with a large pore of 2 µ at one end. It grows solitary or scattered, appearing after the first rains at the start of the rainy season over humid humus, shade in forests, agricultural land, roadsides etc.
