Day 6 of "365 Days of Plants" is on this cute chubby plant known as Gasteria glomerata. Given their characteristic shape and smoothness, the genus is commonly known as "ox tongue" (I suppose for its resemblance to an ox's tongue, though admittedly, the only bovine I've ever gotten close enough to is a cow), but never really thoroughly inspected its tongue. That being said, this species of Gasteria is a bit more ... ahem ... rubenesque than its other counterparts, but I think that makes it quite cute.
I'll cover a bit more of Gasteria care here, including lighting, watering, fertilizing, propagating and more! And if you recall, I highlighted this guy also in 6 Easy (and Unusual) Houseplants for Beginners in Episode 111: [ Ссылка ].
