One of my ocassional video comments. This time on Panorama's journalistically poor documentary screened on Wednesday 10th July 2019. This only looks at the section on Ken Livingstone which purports to document Labour's failure to deal with Livingstone's antisemitism but which really highlights Labour's failure to deal with an assault of freedom of thought. A freedom that Livingstone was defending when he defended Naz Shah after she was accused of antisemitism for having shared a bit of humour originally posted by Jewish academic Norman Finklestein. Panorama fails to consider any of this context and does not comment on the vicious and personal attacks on Ken Livingstone himself.
