We cut out 12 little metal window panes to put in a large 3/16 width picture window (L = 71 in x H = 49 in), which cost less that $300. (The person who sold us the window advised against getting tempered glass.) All in all, it was pretty easy, just a few hours of work, and we now have a nice picture window with a great view!
