Easily test your chlorine using a Taylor K-2006 pool water testing kit.

- Fill the large vial with pool water up to the 25ml mark

- Add 2 scoops of DPD Powder R-0870 to the water sample and swirl to mix. If there's chlorine present the sample will go from clear to pink.

- Hold the vial at eye level and add the DPD Reagent R-0002 one drop at a time and swirl to mix. Count the number of drops you use and stop when the sample goes from pink to clear.

- Multiply the number of drops by 0.2 and you'll have the chlorine level.

Example: If you use 12 drops...

12 x 0.2 = 2.4. Your pool chlorine level is 2.4ppm.
10 x 0.2 = 2. Your chlorine level is 2ppm.

Remember to keep your chlorine between 2 - 4ppm and CYA between 30 - 50ppm.
