Portuguese egg tarts are delicious custard tarts with beautifully scorched on top . It is a popular sweet treats.
In this video, I'm using 'short-cut method' in making these Portuguese tarts. I used frozen Paratha to make the base (shell) of the tart.... and it is tasty!
This idea is ideal when you are in a rush ... especially you have last minute party snack to prepare...😁
To make that beautiful burnt, the tart has to be baked in hot temperature until it is scorched on top. I preferred the lighter burnt colour, therefore I kept an eye while the baking is reaching the end.. for not to over burnt the top.
