The US has brokered a ceasefire between Kurdish and Turkish forces in northern Syria, but it's off to a rocky start.
There are already reports of gunfire and shelling in areas meant to be covered by the truce.
Signs of conflict in the Syrian town of Ras Al Ayn could be seen and heard across the border in Turkey.
Washington has called the ceasefire a breakthrough, but the warring parties were playing down the scope of the agreement from the start.
