Citizens of Delhi breathed toxic air again on Friday as the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded as 482. The increase of PM10 and PM 2.5 pollutants led to the deterioration of air quality of the national capital. The overall AQI of Delhi on Thursday was 472. The air quality of Delhi was in the 'severe category'. No decision was taken on Thursday on extending the odd-even road rationing scheme, which enters its final day on today. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had earlier said the odd-even restrictions could be extended, if required.
