Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hit out at the Samajwadi Party on Sunday, saying that the party have tickets to candidates who were responsible for the alleged exodus of Hindu traders from Kairana.
"Yahi unka samajik nyay hai [this is their social justice]," CM Yogi said.
Meanwhile, a PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking direction to the Elections Commission to take steps to ensure that every political party publishes the details regarding criminal cases of each candidate along with the reason for such selection on the home page of its official website.
The plea, filed by advocate Ashwini Upadhyay, also sought direction to the poll body to de-register the political party which violates the order of the top court.
