Aurora® Generators are making this beauty in their Canadian factory. It is a two cylinder, liquid cooled generator that uses the Perkins 402D-05 engine. It is available in two versions. 4,000 watt and 7,000 watt. 1800 and 3600 RPM. The 3600 RPM version actually makes less noise and last 18,000 hours plus. It was designed as a higher speed engine and outlasts the larger 3 and 4 cylinder ones.
Hard to believe but its true. A 3600 RPM engine that lasts longer than traditional standby generators. If you're living off grid and looking for low power, lower fuel costs or just something to replace an air cooled generator with, this has all the same features as the larger standby generators but without the higher price.
