@dallasstoneworks - This nicely sized piece features a grossular garnet from Laghman Province, Afghanistan. The crystal has nice color saturation with some translucency, appearing as a deep red/burgandy when under light. The crystal has lustrous and well defined crystal faces. There are two small seams towards one of the edges which I've tried to show in the images/video. This piece was formerly part of the W. & A. Cook Collection and includes their inventory card, as well as a card from Mountain Minerals International.
