In 652 AD, Uthman is believed to have rewritten a complete and final version of the Qur'an which he then sent to either 5 or 11 cities. The Standard Islamic Narrative is not clear on this. Regardless if there were 11 or 5 cities which received a copy, there is not one still in existence today. Why is this? When looking at the total 11 cities that could have received a manuscript, Dr. Jay notes how curious it is that all of these cities have always remained in control by the Arabs/Muslims. There is no history or burnings or conquest, so how is it that not a single one of these manuscripts has been preserved? Watch as Al Fadi and Dr. Jay dive into the cloudy waters of the Qur'an's history.
