The winner of the GBC Open Day car raffle, has driven home his Mitsubishi Space Star. Kevin Hook was announced as the lucky winner of the raffle live on GBC during the Open Day TV marathon last month.
Now Kevin has met with sponsors AMC Credit, AM Capurro and Sons and Gedime Motors to collect his prize. The Government waived duty on the car, meaning that £15,000 was raised, taking the Open Day’s record breaking total to £120,000!
In the coming months this money will make its way back to local charities.
