A quick over view of the Veritas Low Angle Smooth Plane.
This is the low angle smooth plane from Lee Valley, not to be confused with the Bevel Up Smooth Plane which uses a 2 1/4" blade, and is coffin shaped. The Low Angle uses a 2" blade.
The low angle smooth plane features large smooth sides for use as a shooting plane. And it has a lever cap that supports your hand in the shooting configuration.
