The African Young Women Leaders (AfYWL) Fellowship Programme is a partnership between the African Union Commission (AUC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) that aims to invest in global women leadership, promote African expertise and build an Africa-wide network of outstanding young women professionals to spur innovation, South-South cooperation, and development exchange.
The Programme seeks to build a new generation of young African women leaders and experts to serve Africa and the world in designing and implementing development programmes in the context of the SDGs and Agenda 2063.
The 2nd cohort of the AfYWL Fellowship Programme will be inducted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 28 March to 1 April 2022. This social media plan seeks to create visibility around the Fellowship Programme by promoting the immense potential of Africa’s youth to contribute to sustainable development.
