The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) named central observers for electing the leaders of its legislature parties in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The development comes amid indications that new chief ministers may be named over the weekend.
They will travel to Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh to convene respective legislative party meetings.
For Rajasthan, the party has designated Rajnath Singh, Vinod Tawade and Saroj Panday. For Madhya Pradesh, the BJP has assigned Manohar Lal Khattar, K Lakshman and Aasha Lakra. Whereas, for Chhattisgarh, the BJP named Arjun Munda, Sarvanand Sonewale and Dushyant Kumar Gautam.
