The Ministry of health has urged districts to speed up COVID-19 vaccination at the different designated centres to avoid the vaccines expiring.
This comes at a time when the country is scaling up vaccination initiatives as the best way of curbing the spread of the pandemic and allowing the economy to open up.
According to ministry statistics out of a target of 22 million people just under 1.7 million people have received at least one dose and only 494,062 have been fully vaccinated.
