A team of people rescued a manatee stranded on a Ponce Inlet beach in Volusia County, Florida.

Members from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Volusia County Beaches, and the Volusia County Marine Mammal Stranding Team worked together to carry the beached manatee on a stretcher into a truck for examination.

Officials say the manatee was taken to the SeaWorld rehabilitation center after the rescue.
