We recently spoke to cleantech financier Rodrigo Castro, Partner at Genesis Ventures about their $300m green hydrogen fund for small to mid size projects for domestic off-takers such as mining logistics and and a steel company.
He spoke about the key challenges to help accelerate the green hydrogen projects to FID such as permitting and off-take agreements. Rodrigo is optimistic that Chile will again play a pivotal and pioneering role on deploying a new clean energy infrastructure, as the country did in the utility solar industry back in the 2010's.
