The first part of the DBX EU MODEX on Marine Pollution Conference on 2 March 2023 in Porvoo, Finland will present the findings of the experts from marine authorities, environmental agencies and Civil Protection from 14 European countries on the phases 'Alert' and 'Rescue'. First, the complete scenario with the consequences of the collision of a ferry and a container vessel will be presented in a short video.
After the participants, their findings will be compared with the experiences from the same phases during the accident of the Costa Concordia in Italy presented by David Fabi, Italian Civil Protection Department.
