(22 Feb 2020) A plane carrying 32 British and other European passengers who were evacuated from a virus-stricken cruise ship in Japan landed in the United Kingdom on Saturday.
The passengers boarded transfer buses that would take them to Arrowe Park Hospital in northwest England, where they will spend two weeks in quarantine.
Before their arrival, more than 80 other Britons evacuated from Wuhan - the Chinese city at the centre of the coronavirus outbreak - had spent time in isolation at Arrowe Park.
The evacuees spent more than two weeks in quarantine on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which was docked in Yokohama.
