►How are ‘what if’ trailers made?

I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. Ultimately to create a ‘what if’ trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more.

Editing Journey:

I was very excited to see Blue Beetle when I heard that Xolo from Cobra Kai is playing the main character. As a big fan of Xolo’s work in Cobra Kai as Miguel, it made the experience to edit Blue Beetle 2 trailer a blast. Although the Blue Beetle film was not regarded as a ground breaking superhero movie, I still loved it because it was simply a fun ride. I hope they make a sequel because Blue Beetle is a fun superhero to watch. The cool thing about Blue Beetle is that he is like the mix of our favorite Superheroes like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Venom and even The Mask.

I had a little bit of fun in the beginning by making Jaime Reyes narrate in the style of Peter Parker from Spider-Man 2002. “Who am I? Are you sure you want to know? My life's story is not one to be taken lightly. If someone told you it was a happy little story, or that I was simply your typical everyday Mexican American person with no worries in the world, they lied” With a little bit of revision. The best part of the trailer was the fresh Blue Beetle clips from fan film. Act 2 I made about Jenny Kord asking someone about her father. As we know he was the previews Blue Beetle. Thanks to the film MAX STEEL we get a lien of someone talking about the father inventing something. For the final line I made Jamie say “My name is Jamie Rayes, and I am the Blue Beetle”.
