Are you trying to figure out how to install a check valve on a sump pump and trying to prevent sump pump backup? Well this video is a step by step guide for how to install a check valve on a sump pump. This sort of check valve is a must of you are buying a sump pump from Lowe's or from Home Depot. It also works great with a zoeller sump pump. The check valve is a spring assisted 2 inch valve that helps to get rid of water hammer in your sump and into your sump pump. I bought this valve off amazon.com with intentions of eliminating the loud banging noise associated with my old sewage sump system set up. After installation of the check valve, the results were amazing. My only question was to myself: why hadn't I installed this thing earlier?!?! I hope you enjoy it and please leave me feedback.
