Dario’s 2011 nonfiction book, Aegean Dream, the bittersweet memoir of a year spent on the small Greek island of Skópelos (the real Mamma Mia! island), was an Amazon UK travel bestseller. Dana King: I am the author of eight novels in the Penns River series of police procedurals, six Nick Forte private investigator novels, and one standalone crime novel. Two of the Forte books received Shamus Award nominations from the Private Eye Writers of America (A Small Sacrifice for Best First PI Novel and The Man in the Window for Best Paperback Original). David Swinson is the author of the critically acclaimed Frank Marr trilogy, The Second Girl, Crime Song, and Trigger. He is also the author of City on the Edge. He began his career at the height of the punk rock movement in the early 1980s. In 2000, he was promoted to detective and was assigned to the department’s Special Investigations Bureau/Major Crimes, and was the lead investigator in the District of Columbia for investigating serial burglaries, and high-profile cases, and organized criminal operations related to narco-fencing.
