Mike Minot’s story is different in that he was not down and out or brought to his knees due to harsh events in his life that drove him to faith in Jesus Christ. He was at the top of his game, living the “American Dream” with a great job, good health, plenty of money, and seemingly no problems when he was challenged by a friend to re-evaluate the meaning of his life and examine where he was headed. Even though his friend knew that Mike was an atheist, he suggested that Mike begin his search by reading the Bible.
