The Kia Sonet is in many ways, a baby Seltos. It shares its platform, engines, transmissions, and many features with the Venue but simultaneously delivers a lot of what you’d get in the Kia Seltos. Highlights include a sunroof, wireless phone charger, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, a BOSE music system, air purifier with perfume diffuser, drive modes, traction modes and for the very first time in a sub compact SUV, ventilated front seats!
Like the Venue, the Sonet gets a 1.2 litre petrol manual, a 1.0 litre turbo petrol manual/clutchless manual/DCT and a diesel manual. It also gets a differentiator by offering the same diesel automatic as the Seltos. Expect prices to start around Rs 7 lakh and go up to around Rs 12.50 lakh ex-showroom.
