At the moment, automakers are increasingly abandoning station wagons and sedans
in favor of crossovers, which are considered more practical. However, Skoda has an
equally interesting option, namely the Octavia Scout, which offers versatility and
enough arguments to leave most crossovers in the lurch. The all-terrain version of the Scout is
most easily distinguished by the presence of a protective body kit made of unpainted plastic around the body,
and to increase its exclusivity and off-road touches, the station wagon received chrome
roof rails, 18 or 19-inch alloy wheels and 15 mm increased ground clearance.
The base for the Octavia Scout offers a 1.5-liter TSI petrol with 150 hp,
and more productive versions have a 2.0-liter TSI or a turbodiesel of the same volume,
which are combined only in tandem with a DSG robot and immediately have a full drive unit.
