The Volvo B9TL CDGE bus was the first wheelchair bus and the only Euro 3 bus in Singapore. With SBS Transit being the main operator of the bus with 200 of them being built. First entered on 27 June 2006 on service 21. After 17 years in service and with LTA aim to have 100% eco friendly buses in 2040, the bus made its final service on 22 September 2023.

Although its not the end of the B9TL, the bus eventually became the most popular bus in Singapore. With the Volvo B9TL CDGE now retired, the next oldest bus will be the Scania K320UB bus.
