Convert your video to a GIF for uploading to Chrome at [ Ссылка ]
You can customize your Google Chrome homepage (the New Tab page) with not only images, but also GIFs and videos! Whether it’s a scene from your favorite movie, a great meme, or personal content, you can easily do it all. In this tutorial, we show you how to use a GIF to personalize the background for your Chrome homepage. If you want to use a video, simply convert it to a GIF for free using Kapwing first.
There are 6 steps. If you have already downloaded your GIF, skip to step 5.
1. Open Kapwing’s Studio [ Ссылка ]
2. Upload or link your video. Trim or add visual elements if desired.
3. Choose GIF output format in the settings (found under the Publish button)
4. Click Download
5. Find your downloaded GIF and change the extension to “.png”
6. Open a new Chrome tab, click “Customize” in the lower right corner, then upload your GIF!
