The idea of this affirmation is to focus on receiving and not needing. To receive is to “accept” as Catherine Ponder said, so train your mind to receive.
It is true that the more we give in life the more we receive. Sometimes we give and give to others and never expect to receive anything in return, but we should learn to receive and to accept graciously.
Repeat this affirmation as often as you’d like and as long as you’d like to get into the receiving mode. We recommend that you speak these words for 5-10 minutes because for every 15 minutes of reading that you do, you should at least affirm for 5 minutes, according to Catherine Ponder.
