(23 Oct 2018) Lottery players will have a chance at winning an estimated $1.6 billion jackpot in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing and an estimated $620 million in Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot.
Residents in Rosenberg, Texas were buying up lottery tickets as fast as the machine could print them out at Rudy’s Stop and Shop.
"I want it," said Daniel Cordell of RIchomond, Texas.
"I’ve playing lotto for a while but I never hit so, it might be my lucky day.”
If there is no winner Tuesday night, lottery officials said the estimated jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing would jump to $2 billion.
The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 302.5 million.
