Despite being born in a small town like Yavatmal and getting raised in circumstances that screamed lack of exposure, dreaming big always seemed like a hobby to me. Constantly amazed by how the world works, I grew up to become the person my inner child desperately needed in life. I accepted my shackles as my armours and saw it activating my powers. Hating how things worked around me ignited a fire within me to work for development. Instead of complaining, I decided to be the change. Injustice horrified me, I became a forensic scientist from a National Institute. I saw how fixing a purpose statement in life altered my reality. From having no listeners to speaking in front of the Honourable Prime Minister of India, from the days nobody knew me to Google, from the nights spent alone to the time watching “Hi! This is Shweta Umre” becoming a catch phrase, from being a nobody to getting viral, from losing a sense to finding a sense, from shadows to light. A journey of exploring one’s hidden capabilities, unlocking immense strength and bridging the gap between potential and reality. If even a single person of all the people who will read this gets moved with the purpose statement in the end of the video, it’ll make my heart rain with oxytocin.
