Get ready for the biggest rains of the Fall season! The first showers will dot the skies this morning, lasting through the early afternoon when the rain will become more scattered. Temperatures will stay fairly steady today, in the middle 50s. So a light jacket will probably do you for today.
Rain will ramp up on Tuesday, possibly becoming heavy at times. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible too. No severe weather is anticipated, but it will be quite windy. Temperatures will rise into the lower 60s with a southerly wind.
On Wednesday, the rain will become more scattered as temperatures take a hit. We'll still be in the middle 50s for highs on Wednesday. Another down-turn in temperature is expected Thursday into Friday as we go into the 40s and down to the 30s. By Saturday, there's a slight chance for a few rain or snow showers. It's still too early to talk specifics about snowfall amounts and I certainly wouldn't bet on accumulations at all.
