Laerdal Medical India together with Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha and the Simulation Society of Nepal recently conducted a webinar on using simulation based learning to improve clinical practice and performance in today’s challenging circumstances.
The session was delivered by global experts in simulation and was based on their recently published paper “The Use of Simulation to Prepare and Improve Responses to Infectious Disease Outbreaks like COVID-19: Practical Tips and Resources from Norway, Denmark, and the UK”. Read more: [ Ссылка ].
The authors shared & discussed their experience to train and implement simulation to enhance safety & the system; and also share experience from Stavanger University Hospital, Norway & Nightingale Hospital, London. This was extra special as the Nightingale Hospital was an “instant-hospital” created & staffed in weeks with 4000 beds (2500 ICU beds).
