Chief Justice of India justice Ranjan Gogoi and his family members visited Tirupati Devastanam to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara. CJI had earlier participated in `Sahasra Deepalankara Seva' held near Tirumala temple. Justice Ranjan Gogoi and his spouse Rupanjali Gogoi sat along with other pilgrims witnessing the 45 minutes long seva in which Lord Malayappa, the processional deity along with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi gives darshan to devotees while on a swing, moved by priests rhythmically, amidst traditional music and devotional songs and also chanting of mantras from Vedas by Vedic Pundits.
