When I reached Kashmir I had no knowledge of Kupwara or I should say Keran valley, when I started exploring Srinagar I researched on googlu so much that somehow the name of Keran village appeared on the screen and I started reading about it. After knowing the history of the place I couldn't refrain myself from witnessing the hidden gem of Kashmir, although reaching the village was not easy but I heard different versions of how people living in the village were separated from their loved ones during the attacks from militants and how people come by the Keshanganga river ( a natural border between POK and INDIA) everyday to just have a glimpse of their daughter or wife or son
