The NSW Premier has argued the so-called “battle” between Sydney's east and west is pointless in relation to infrastructure and housing reforms.
Speaking at the Daily Telegraph’s Future Western Sydney Summit, Dominic Perrottet faced off against NSW Labor Leader Chris Minns over their vision for the region.
“This whole east versus west thing; we shouldn’t be having that debate,” Mr Perrottet said.
“We are one state, we are one people with high ambitions for everybody.
“And the reality, as Sydney grows, it is growing in Western Sydney and that is a good thing, not a bad thing.”
