How did you celebrate #InternationalDanceDay on 29 April 2022?

Our learners in Middle School participated in a ‘Rhythm & Dance’ Integrated Unit Study (ISU), understanding all the different ways dance & rhythm impacts their bodies and minds, and using it as a tool for their self-expression. Students learned the science behind movement and coordination, tracking their resting and moving heart rates and mapping them to understand heart health, endurance, and motor fitness.

This is one of the many ways in which our Middle School learning programmes link passions to proficiency classes, strip down the walls of labeled subjects, and provides opportunity for students to experience and apply math, literacy, and science in one thematic unit.
