Super Mario Bros 2 Christmas Edition:
Over 22 years ago, the original Super Mario Bros. 2 - Christmas Edition was created and released by BMF54123, designed to be a complete graphical overhaul of the classic game you know and love! This patch aims to serve as a minor update to spread even more Christmas cheer to areas of the game that remained untouched, and make things a bit more…slippery…as you traverse the wintry world of Subcon!
Changes from the original Christmas Edition:
New Christmas themed colors added throughout (and modified in places)
Swapped Princess and Toad’s primary outfit color
Ice physics are now applied to all surfaces (can be removed via optional patch)
You start the game with 5 lives and unlimited continues (similar to All-Stars)
Includes fixes for the Autobomb glitch and charge jumping while holding an item/enemy
Optional patch included to reselect character on death.

Overview Super Mario Bros. Wart’s Wonderland is a ROM hack of Super Mario Bros. 2 USA for the NES, created by Rohbert. It’s a holiday-themed hack designed for experienced SMB2 players, featuring original levels with unique custom holiday sprites, including Christmas hats, candy canes, falling snow, and cups of hot chocolate.
Gameplay
The hack is more difficult than vanilla SMB2 but not as hard as most other SMB2 hacks.
Princess and Luigi will have an easier time completing levels, while Toad and Mario will struggle a bit more.

Graphics were created by BMF54123 and Rohbert.
Each level features a unique color palette and contains 2 power-up mushrooms and 1 extra life.
All levels are complete-able with all characters.
The game begins with 9 lives and 5 continues.
