Everyone whats to have that good cinematic look to their work. Well now you can get this look with your Canon EOS R and C log 8 bit. I am going to show you how I get this look and go over some of the basics of achieving a cinematic look. I will show you the setting you will need to use and how to use them inside premier pro.

Creating a Cinematic look with the EOS R is much more than the settings that you use. I recommend looking up some ways that Hollywood directors use to create a 3D look inside a 2D environment.

As far as settings go one of the easiest ways to improve your video is by increasing the EOS R Dynamic Range with C Log settings. This will increase how many stops of light the camera can take in. This will drastically drop the contrast in the EOS R and retain more highlight and shadows. This will be brought out in post! This is the best way to get the most out of the Canon EOS R in video and movie mode.
