Some tips to make this process even easier is to take a picture of the lock currently installed BEFORE removing it. The reason for doing so is to create a cheat sheet for you to reference back to in case you need a "finished product" to refer to.
Step 1: Push up on Entrypad to remove it from the shoulder bolts. Then pull out horizontally to expose the wiring behind the entrypad.
Step 2: Remove 9v Battery
Step 3: Remove 4-pin cable from retainer clip
Step 4: Pinch end connector of 4-pin cable inside the entrypad to disconnect from the safe.
Step 5: Remove back panel of safe door to expose the EL-0601 swingbolt lock
Step 6: Remove relocker plate if present
Step 7: Remove 3 screws holding lock onto the safe door
Step 8: Pull 4-pin cable out of the door spindle hole.
