Page 53 in "Get Set for School" and page 14 in "Letters and Numbers for Me." This is the sixth letter to teach in the sequence. Verbal cues "Start at the top, big line down, jump back to the top, little curve, little line slides down to the bottom." Make your voice slide down to add that extra auditory and tonal memory. By using the phrase "slide down" it gives kids an explanation that gives them an experiential recollection of the sensory experience of "sliding." (This taps into the amygdala, which is yet another connection in the brain)
